Ukrainian ballet star Artem Datschen has DieWeeks after he was injured in a Russian bombing in Kyiv.
His girlfriend Tatiana Borovik announced, on Facebook, that Datsychin, who was a principal dancer at the Ukrainian National Opera, died in March.

Anatoly Solovianenko, General Director of the National Opera House of Ukraine, shared his grief over the death of Datsychen on FacebookHe described him as a “beautiful artist” and “a wonderful man”.

Russian-American choreographer Alexei Ratmansky, who previously worked at the Ukraine National Opera and the American Ballet Theatre, explained in his own social post that Datsyshyn “fell under Russian artillery fire.”
Ratmansky added, “He was a beautiful dancer who was loved by his colleagues. Unbearable pain.”
The ballerina’s death was announced on the same day as the Ukrainian actress’s death Oksana Shvets was killed during a Russian bombing of Kyiv.
