The Pau division has formalized the arrival of right-back Harry Williams for the coming season. The former Exeter player, who has 19 caps for England, comes in as reinforcements following an injury to Siad Tokolahi at the end of last season.
The Pau division has given itself a significant boost with the arrival of Harry Williams. The right-back, who has 19 caps with XV de la Rose, can bring all his experience to bear in Siad Tokolahi’s absence. Tongan will be out for the coming months after suffering a torn heel ligament during the last match of the season. In this sense, Pau’s division was actively seeking reinforcements for this position.
A long-time player in Exeter’s colours, he lends a helping hand from Montpellier. So Harry Williams signed a one-year deal (for the 2024-2025 season) with an option year. The right-back will be with the rest of the team for this Monday’s scheduled restart for Palois.
“I’m looking forward to the start of the season.”
In Pau’s press release, the Englishman explains: “The division contacted me, the project attracted me, it’s a good opportunity to find another club where I love the stadium, the city and the mountains, I already had the opportunity with Joe Simmonds. I’m waiting for the start of the season, I’m very happy to join the division!. Having played for Montpellier last season, he knows his second club in France.
For his part, Pau manager Sebastien Piqueronis confirms: “We took the time to identify the profile that best fits our needs and requirements, which is a strong guarantee for our program!”.
