Dave Grohl and his band Foo Fighters held a concert at the London Stadium on Saturday night as Taylor Swift performed on the second night of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium.
During his performance, Grohl pointed out Swift criticizing the “Fortnight” singer, saying, “I’m telling you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.”
“So we like to call our tour Round of mistakes. We’ve been through more than a few eras, and more than a few mistakes, too. “Just a couple,” Grohl added.
The Foo Fighters star then implied that Swift isn’t performing live, saying: “That’s because we’re already playing live. What? Just saying. You guys love live rock ‘n’ roll, right? You’ve come to the right place.”
Although Grohl has had positive things to say about Swift in the past, some fans believe he is now targeting the singer after his 17-year-old daughter was harassed by Swifties after she criticized Swift on social media for her private flying.
Swift appeared to refute Grohl’s claims when she took a minute on the third night of her London shows to honor her live performers.
“Every single member of my band, every single member of our crew, my band that’s playing for you live for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much,” Swift said. And so does every one of my fellow artists. “You have given us this so generously, and we will never forget it.”
Swift played three consecutive nights at Wembley Stadium in London. After the three shows, the singer will travel to Dublin, Ireland, where she will perform for three nights starting June 28. Following her stop in Ireland, Swift will perform in Amsterdam starting July 4, with stops in Switzerland, Germany and Italy after that. .
On August 15, Swift will return to London’s Wembley Stadium to play five more nights. The singer will return to the United States on October 18, where he will play three consecutive nights at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
