Manchester United are preparing for the future and for Erik ten Hoag's successor. With the arrival of INEOS, Jim Radcliffe wants to restore the image of the English club. If Zinédine Zidane is the first priority, another coach is also in the works.
Manchester United, who are 6th in the Premier League, are coming off another disappointing season. Erik ten Haag is not unanimous across the channel. The Red Devils' proposed performance was unconvincing, with United losing 3–1 in the Manchester derby. Recently, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Jim Radcliffe's aim was to lure Zinedine Zidane to Old Trafford. The French technician has announced on several occasions that he wants to resume his training activities. But the former Real Madrid coach is unlikely to join Manchester United. This is why, according to The Sun newspaper, English chiefs are considering Graham Potter to embody the new face of the club.

Manchester United's current sporting director Dan Ashworth is adamant Graham Potter is the best coach for the European giants, according to English media. The two worked together at Brighton, where Graham Potter held his own in the Premier League's sights. The rest at Chelsea was more complicated, but his work at the Seagulls was remarkable. Obviously, Zidane and the English coach are very different, but the latter is qualified to be familiar with the English championship, unlike the former midfielder, who only knew La Liga with Merengue. Of course speaking Shakespeare's language puts Gizo a bit off. Manchester United will have an important choice to make next season but there is no doubt that the new era will be without Erik ten Hoag. Graham Potter will be the new boss of the Theater of Dreams.
