From January 29 to February 3, English Specialization (LLCER) students of Marcellin Berthelot High School in Questembert enjoyed an unforgettable London adventure. Wandering the streets of London, they discover gems such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Also on the program: the city's famous museums such as the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the National Gallery and the Shakespeare Theatre, all cultural highlights of the City of London.
The story of their trip unfolded in real time on the high school newspaper Marcel Info's Instagram account, where students shared authentic photos of their visits. From Paddington to Camden, each neighborhood has enhanced the experience of these young globetrotters. One of the highlights of their stay was an iconic punk from Camden Market who shared his iconic universe with high school students.
Exchanges and Innovations at Parliament Hill School
Immersion in a partner high school in London gave the young Questembertois a unique opportunity to understand the British education system and interact with their English peers. Some students were assigned to interview museum guards, tourists, students and teachers of the “Parliament Hill School”. These interactions fostered meaningful linguistic and cultural learning. This school trip to London will be a collaborative experience for Marceline Berthelot's high school students.
