Beacon 23 has been renewed for a second season at MGM+ – The Hollywood Reporter

MGM+ returns to Lighthouse 23.

The premium cable network formerly known as Epix has officially picked up Season 2 of the sci-fi drama series starring Stephan James and Lena Headey.

This news comes as MGM+ just wrapped the first season of creator Zak Penn’s drama and aired a teaser for the series’ second season. Lighthouse 23 (Watch it below). The second season of the series, which was originally developed for Spectrum Originals and was slated to have a second window on AMC before the first bailed on The Originals, has already been completed as filming took place at both the show’s theaters back-to-back.
