A few days ago, Hikaru was a guest on Shida Sports Illustrated, where she looked back on losing the AEW Women’s Champion title and losing this title, and she revealed the reason for her progress in English.
She tells us:
“After losing the title, I was very upset. I thought I could have done even better and been a champion. So competition in this TBS title is very important to me. This is a great opportunity to come up again. I learned a lot from Kenny Omega and Dustin Rhodes, who taught me what to do on a TV show. Being on TV is an actress, so I took an acting lesson. My English is much better at watching Sherlock Holmes on the BBC.
Hikaru Shida lost his AEW Championship title to Britt Baker in 2021 in Double or Nothing after holding the belt for 372 days. Hikaru Shida reveals to us that he improved his English by watching the Sherlock Holmes series played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
In the last episode of Dynamite, Hikaru Shida managed to get his 50th victory while getting the ticket for the next round of the TBS Championship match against Serena Deep. In the next round, she will face an old debut of Nyla Ross (the AEW women’s champion who defeated her).
