The franchise formerly known as Yakuza is preparing to welcome a new entry with the upcoming film Like a Dragon Gaitan: The Man Who Erased His Name. Unfortunately for those who prefer English voices, you’ll have to settle for Japanese upon release.
The release does not have English dubs
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s next production invites players to take on the role of legendary former yakuza Kazuma Kiri, who faked his own death and gave up his name to protect his family. Now calling himself Zoryu, Kiryu embarks on a captivating journey of action and brutal combat in exciting locations full of exciting characters and action.
While fans of the franchise prefer to devour the rest of the episodes in the original version, those who prefer the English dubs will have to be patient to enjoy them to their heart’s content.
Yong Yea, Kiryu’s English voice, confirmed that only the original Japanese version of X will be available upon release. English translations will arrive later via a post-release update.
Apparently, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Arrested His Name will be subtitled in French. The new adventures of Kazuma Kiry can be enjoyed on November 9th on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, not forgetting that the title will be available on Xbox Game Pass!
As Like a Dragon: Gaitan is still a few weeks away and many people may not be aware of it, I thought I’d let you know that the English dub will not be available on the 11/8 release date and will be released as a post-release patch (no official date yet). I hope you look forward to it! pic.twitter.com/BWJcM5GvNz
