Hideo Kojima’s legendary Metal Gear Solid series returns as a collection release this October on all platforms including the Nintendo Switch, and as part of this, Konami has now shared a table on the game’s official page detailing the resolution and frame rate for each platform.
Although we already got a summary of the Switch’s performance in Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, this is the most clear chart yet in terms of how it stacks up against the competition. Metal Gear Solid will be available on all platforms 30 fps With accurate output 1920 x 1080 pixels (The exception is Portable mode Which is going on 1280 x 720 pixels).
As for Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3, the Switch version is compatible with the other consoles in docked mode (1920 x 1080 pixels) but it was reduced from 60 fps to 30 fps Across both modes.
