It’s silly to buy a high-end gaming PC for cheap on a gaming monitor. No matter how powerful your gaming PC is, your games will never look as good as they could without a monitor that has the right features to complement them. Monitors can get expensive, but fortunately Amazon Prime Day is one of the best times to record an excellent screen for the price of a lesser quality device.

LG Ultragear GN650B 32″ 2560×1440 1ms 165Hz VA for Gaming a screen
Our personal recommendations
50% off the new 2023 Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 43-inch 4K Mini-LED QLED Gaming Monitor, now only $499.99
Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 is a large 43-inch screen with a resolution of 4K (3840 x 2160). Although the screen is technically smaller than the 49-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, in my opinion it’s a much more usable screen. There are only 8% fewer pixels left, which means the G7 actually has a higher pixel density which translates to a sharper picture overall. Also, the standard 16:9 aspect ratio is more useful as a general-purpose display than the 32:9 aspect ratio on the Neo G9’s DQHD ultra-wide screen.
The Neo G7 uses small LEDs paired with a dot matrix panel. Quantum dot technology allows for brighter, richer color saturation, and micro LEDs provide more accurate local dimming than conventional full-array LEDs because the control zones are smaller and more numerous. The Neo G7 is also HDR600 certified, which means it can display HDR content with up to 600 nits of peak brightness. These features are great for playing games and streaming multimedia content. The Neo G7 features a fast 1ms response time, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync compatible. Although it is not officially G-SYNC certified, it has been shown to be G-SYNC compatible.
We rated this one of the best 4K gaming monitors of 2023, and it was $999. At $500, it’s undoubtedly a great deal for someone who wants a gaming monitor that’s a cut above the rest.
LG C2 4K OLED 42-Inch Gaming TV $796.99
The 42-inch model is LG’s smallest OLED TV, so it really shines as a computer game monitor. Since the 42-inch C2 has the same 4K resolution as its larger siblings (and, therefore, the same number of pixels), it boasts a higher pixel density so that images are sharper. 42 inch size is small enough to fit most gaming desks. The LG Evo C2 features two HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K @ 120Hz and VRR when connected to a PS5, Xbox Series X, or RTX 40 plus 1ms gaming PC. response times, ALLM, and original G-SYNC compatibility for zero tearing and ghosting. For PC gaming, it also supports 4:4:4 chroma sampling for crisp, sharp text. As always, the OLED panel trumps any IPS, VA, or TN screen in terms of HDR, black levels, and color rendition.
The 2022 C2 features an improved “Evo” OLED panel over the C1. Previously reserved only for LG G-series OLED TVs, the Evo panel offers higher brightness levels, one of the few areas where traditional LED LCD TVs outperform OLED displays. On the other hand, the newer 2023 C3 TV has a lot going for it A few Upgrades make the price jump worthwhile. This means that for someone who wants to move to OLED but wants to maximize the value, the Evo C2 is definitely the way to go.

Samsung quantum dot OLED panel; Quantum dot technology produces higher peak brightness levels than conventional OLED TVs without losing the color accuracy, range and wide viewing angles that OLEDs are known for. The QD-OLED panel also features a DCI-P3 color gamut of 99.3% and is factory calibrated with a Delta E of less than 2.
