Real Madrid are facing interest from three English clubs for their midfielder Federico Valverde. However, Florentino Perez was unwilling to let him go.
Keen to revamp their midfield with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric nearing the end of their careers, Real Madrid have made a huge bid to secure the services of Jude Bellingham (ex-Borussia Dortmund). But the strong competition that reigns within its midfield means the club will need to retain players with limited game time.
According to the published information TeamTalk, Fede Valverde particularly appeals to greed. Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are said to be interested in the Uruguayan. However, the message remains clear: Valverde does not want to leave and Real Madrid do not want to sell him.
Valverde has not decided to leave
Valverde’s qualities make him an indispensable part of Ancelotti’s squad. The player has already proven his versatility and can play in multiple positions. With Bellingham, but also Aurelien Soumeni and Eduardo Camavinga, the Real midfielder remains competitive. However, Valverde is not ready to give up his place.
The former Penarol man, under contract with Real Madrid until 2027, has made 204 appearances for Madrid so far, including 56 this season. He had a record season in the Spanish capital, scoring 12 goals out of a total of 18 goals.
Since his arrival, the Uruguayan midfielder has won La Liga twice and the Champions League once. This season he added the Copa del Rey to his list. Recently, the player made his connection with the club clear: “I’m at Real Madrid, I’m trying to enjoy every moment and continue to leave my mark on this team, which is the best in the world.”He said ESPN-Argentina.
Suffice it to say that his recruitment by English teams is off to a rough start.
