English training program for sailors takes shape

The European program, aimed at learning English or improving the size of their non-native navies, takes the form of Prague-Mareng (practical and communication-based maritime English).
From Seaman to the first officer, all Marines have access to this e-learning application that can solve the comprehension problems they may encounter on board for a variety of national races.

Communication, an important element

Based on the observation that human errors are still 40% due to miscommunication between team members, the Turkish company Lionel A. Groups such as Laks France, a subsidiary of Maxum, Romanian universities in Constanta and universities in the Lithuanian Klipeda, Internet service providers and companies decided in 2019 to invest in the project.
Prague-Mareng, which receives financial support from the European Commission, is entering its final stages today. Works carried out in the last two years will be delivered in October. As for laying the foundations of the project in 2019, the Marseille-Foss port was chosen to present the progress of the work.
