Georgia vs Ohio Score: Live Updates, College Football Playoff Scores, Peach Bowl 2022 coverage

ATLANTA – No. 4 Ohio State leads No. 1 Georgia 28-24 in the first half of the College Football Playoff semifinals at the Peach Bowl. The Bulldogs found themselves down a 21-7 hole midway through the second quarter but ripped 17 straight points to take the lead with less than two minutes left in the first half. Quarterback CJ Stroud led the Buckeyes to 75 yards in just four plays, which led to a 37-yard strike from Xavier Johnson that gave OSU the lead at the break.

The story so far is a drama of both crimes. The Bulldogs total 313 yards and average 9.8 receiving yards per game, while the Buckeyes have averaged 248 receiving yards and 7.8 receiving yards per game. Stroud is 15 of 19 for 238 yards and three touchdowns, proving why he is a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist.

There are two notes of injury to watch out for. Georgia was already short of starting right tackle Warren McClendon, who suffered a leg injury in the SEC Championship Game. He also lost tight end Darnell Washington to an ankle injury. His return questionable with Washington “out” before further evaluation in the first half.
