Luis Campos struggles to find the defensive reinforcements Christophe Galtier needs. He dreams of finding a deal with Tottenham for Jabet Tanganga.
Head of Recruitment at Paris SGLuis Campos lacks ideas to achieve his goals. The path to Milan Skriniar is more complicated, so the Portuguese boss needs to find a central defender to complement Christophe Galtier. A new track is now up and may allow an unwanted player to exit at the same time. Indeed, Football London confirms that PSG have been in talks with Tottenham for a few days. The idea is to bring in England international defender Japhet Tanganga from Spurs. As an alternative, Paris will send Antonio Conte’s preferred midfielder Leandro Paredes, who the Tottenham manager has already followed closely after the Argentine during his stay in Italy.
Tottenham have PSG arguments
In principle, everyone can find their account there, and Tanganga’s profile reappeared at the front of the stage when his visit to AC Milan failed in recent weeks. At 23, the Congolese Londoner is struggling to find his place in the eyes of Antonio Conte, who is missing an undisputed holder. Luis Campos, for his part, hopes that PSG can give him playing time and at least make him a rotational player in the three-centred defense that Christophe Galtier prefers. The situation is even more complicated because AC Milan have not completely given up on bringing in Jabed Tanganga, but are only offering a loan. Other European clubs could position themselves this way, but PSG have the advantage of offering a player Conte values in a transfer, which weighs in the balance.
