Winner: Max Verstappen
Silverstone saw another championship for Max Verstappen, as the Red Bull driver reclaimed the lead from Lando Norris after he swerved off pole before going on to cruise to an eighth win in 10 races.

Losers: Alpine
This was a traumatic event for Albin, who had lacked performance all weekend and appeared to be the seventh fastest of the team on paper.

Winner: Lando Norris

It was his best result on home soil in Formula 1 and he was awarded Driver of the Day for the second consecutive week with the highest vote percentage (45%) since Fernando Alonso earned 53% in the opening race in Bahrain.

Losers: AlphaTauri
AlphaTauri was full of hope that Silverstone could be a step forward as they delivered their biggest upgrade of the season.

AlphaTauri spent the weekend running towards the back of the pack
Winner: Oscar Biastri
Oscar Piastri will not feel like a winner at the moment after losing his first Formula 1 position, having lost his position by pitting shortly before the safety car.
Yet when he thinks of what he achieved at Silverstone – third on the grid, and a career-best fourth place finish in only his 10th Grand Prix – he can be very satisfied.

His fourth added to Norris’ second meant McLaren scored more points in this race (30) than they have in the rest of the season so far, propelling them into fifth place in the Constructors’ Championship.

Losers: Ferrari
Ferrari had high hopes of challenging the McLarens for the podium, but a combination of losing track position due to the Safety Car and not having enough fresh tires meant they limp across the ninth and tenth lines.
It meant they lost more ground to Mercedes and Aston Martin in the battle for second place in the Constructors’ Championship and saw them lose momentum after two encouraging races in Canada and Austria.
