College football continues as the 2022 postseason kicks off with a flurry of games that will mark a compelling celebration of a year in the sport. The event kicked off on Friday, December 16th and will continue all the way through the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, January 9th as we are crowned national champions for the 2022 season.
Bowl Season kicked off Friday with two postseason games that didn’t fail to deliver excitement as UAB outlasted Miami (OH) in the Bahamas Bowl to start the festivities while Troy stifled UTSA in the Cure Bowl that featured a showdown between two conference champions. However, this was just a game of two. Saturday’s schedule is much more packed with six ball games on tap for college football fans.
It all starts early Saturday with the Fenway Bowl as Louisville takes on Cincinnati. Next, a thrilling showdown between Florida and No. 14 Oregon State takes center stage in the Las Vegas Bowl as Washington State and Fresno State battle it out in the Los Angeles Bowl. To cap off the evening, BYU battled SMU in the New Mexico Bowl and Boise State battled North Texas in the Frisco Bowl with the South Miss vs. Rice match-up in the LendingTree Bowl sandwiched between them.
In addition to his FBS football games, Deion Sanders will officiate his final game at Jackson State before heading to Colorado where the Tigers take on NC Central in the Celebration Bowl.
