|Mr Paul Dovas, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA) is stepping down from his position, ending his 16-year association with the organisation.
During this period, Mr Dovas spearheaded many new audit services and industry initiatives, including the reporting of Digital Versions, the auditing of web traffic and a brand safety code of conduct. More recently in his role as CEO, Mr Dovas was instrumental in bringing together the Audit Bureau of Circulations and Circulations Audit Board, the media industry owned associations with an 80 year heritage, to form the AMAA, guiding the organisation and its members through the challenging transition into a single voice of accountability resonating across all print and digital media.
Mr Dovas has also served with distinction at an international level with the International Federation of Audit Bureaux of Circulations (IFABC), both as a Director on the Executive Board, as President of the Asia Pacific Audit Bureaux of Circulation and participation on the IFABC's Digital Publishing, Web Standards and Event Audit
The Chairman of the AMAA, Dr Stephen Hollings, said "Paul has been a key figure in delivering accountability and transparency for the media the AMAA represents, in particular in the complex digital space. Paul's knowledge, commitment and passion for digital media and advertising provides a solid legacy for the AMAA to follow."
Mr Dovas said "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the AMAA having worked with a variety of passionate and committed people across the diverse membership. I am very proud of the AMAA's achievements and would like to thank the Board, the AMAA Committees and my dedicated team for their guidance and support."
Mr Dovas will be pursuing opportunities in digital media
