Publishing success stories to be shared at “Era of Change” Conference on October 23 2013

Delegates attending the Audited Media Association of Australia's (AMAA) annual conference, Accountability in Ad Spend 2013 on Wednesday October 23 2013 will hear Peter Zavecz, Commercial Director at Pacific Magazines, Tim Burrowes, Editor-in-chief at Mumbrella and Sally Polihronas, Director, Live Experiences at Fremantle Media share their experiences and insights in a special case study session, titled ‘Managing Brands Across Multiple Platforms'

Details on this session include:

Grand Designs Live - Sally Polihronas will share the Grand Designs Live experience, insights, successes and pitfalls of managing a brand across different media platforms and partners. Find out what you need to deliver your brand across print, live events, the web, tv and beyond.

The Mumbrella story - Tim Burrowes shares the story behind one of the most interesting and controversial publishing launches of recent times. Mumbrella has challenged the publishing format/ideal and carved out a successful niche in a very established market. Tim will share insights, ideas and tips on how to monetize in the digital space.

Pacific Magazines - one of our industry's most respected and experienced advertising sales and publishing professionals, commercial director for Pacific Magazines, Peter Zavecz will share his insights on why print delivers, the digital connection and why we need to remind advertisers.

The session has been designed with AMAA media provider members in mind but has relevance for any marketer or major brand advertiser seeking insight on managing a brand across multiple platforms.

The conference line-up includes sessions for advertisers, advertising agencies and publishers with a special session on online advertising funding illegal activity after morning tea generating interest with advertisers and marketers.

The conference will finish with a panel discussion featuring industry leaders including Mat Baxter CEO, Universal McCann, Alun Probert, executive director communications, NSW Government, Vanessa Hutley, general manager, Music Rights Australia and Jo Gaines, chief revenue officer - Australia, Brandscreen and Simon van Wyk, founder, HotHouse Interactive.
