|Sydney-based content marketing agency Mahlab Media has re-launched Giftrap magazine for the Australian Gift and Homewares Association (AGHA) to support a strategy of increasing membership.
The November/December issue of Giftrap features 52 pages of beautiful product images, business tips for retailers and wholesalers, and promotion of AGHA benefits of membership. The magazine has a print distribution of 3,500 while the digital magazine is sent to 44,000.
Along with the magazine, Mahlab Media will also be launching a fortnightly enewsletter, The Wrap Up, on 20 November.
AGHA represents wholesalers and retailers in the gift and homewares sector in Australia - a sector that is highly sensitive to economic conditions and also faces the challenge of adapting to the shift in consumer spending to online.
Through Giftrap, AGHA provides wholesalers and retailers with inspiration and advice to help them survive and thrive. The magazine - in both print and digital formats - is also an important tool for supporting membership growth for the association.
"Mahlab Media recognises that it's not enough just to produce a high quality magazine, but that it also needs to support our strategic objectives around advertising sales and membership growth," said George Lancaster, AGHA's Manager, Marketing and Membership.
"We are delighted to be working with such experts in association strategy as well as experienced writers, designers and sales staff to produce our sector's leading publication."
In addition to the new-look Giftrap magazine, Mahlab Media has combined Giftrap with the twice-yearly catalogues for AGHA's Home & Giving Fairs to create two bumper issues of the magazine.
The Home & Giving fairs are world-class trade exhibitions held in Sydney and Melbourne, drawing together tens of thousands of buyers and exhibitors.
The first bumper issue will be available in January 2013, with a print circulation of
