|Independent Digital Media (IDM) has announced the launch of Younger You magazine for September and The Knot magazine for October this year. The magazines are extensions of IDM's popular wedding website TheKnot.com.au and anti-ageing website YoungerYou.com.au, and will be distributed nationally.
The magazines are the newest additions to IDM's stable of premium women's lifestyle brands, which also includes beauty website PRIMPED.com.au.
Marina Go, Independent Digital Media's Publisher, says the magazines are an exciting step in building on the strength of IDM's women's lifestyle portfolio.
"Women engage with media in multiple ways, and The Knot magazine and Younger You magazine will extend the reach of these brands to communicate with audiences both online and offline," says Go.
"Our plan is to engage with our communities across all media, with digital at the centre," Go continues. "This next initiative will build on the successful online launches of TheKnot.com.au and YoungerYou.com.au to extend the brands into the magazine landscape."
The Knot magazine and TheKnot.com.au are edited by Alicia Richardson, former Editor of whatswhat.com.au, while Younger You magazine and YoungerYou.com.au are edited by Jenni Gilbert, former Editor-in-Chief of New Idea and launch editor of Good Medicine.
"The Knot is the world's number one wedding website, and together with The Knot Shop, The Knot magazine will secure the brand's position as the authority on brides and weddings across multiple media platforms," says Go.
"YoungerYou.com.au is Australia's one-stop anti-ageing website, and the magazine will confirm Younger You as the go-to resource for commonsense information on achieving a more youthful appearance," says Go.
The Knot magazine will be available from October 2010 at newsagents nationally, as well as bridal expos, membership subscriptions and The Knot Shop. Younger You magazine will be on sale at newsagents and clinics around Australia from September 2010.
