03 Feb 2010

INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY REGIONAL ROADSHOW RETURNS TO TOWN IN APRIL 2010.

Returning to Western Australia in April, the Industrial Technology Regional Roadshow is still the only event of its kind to visit remote and regional Australia. It will bring the latest training and technology to regional centres, enabling qualified industry personnel to meet with leading vendors to learn and discuss upcoming trends in industrial automation, process control, instrumentation and safety.

Attendance is FREE, thanks to our exhibiting Sponsor Companies, and includes entry to the technical training sessions and exhibition, as well as lunch and end-of-day networking, drinks and prize draws.

The Industrial Technology Regional Roadshow will visit the following regional centres:

Bunbury 19 April - All Seasons Sanctuary Golf Resort

Rockingham 20 April - Garry Holland Community Centre

Kalgoorlie 21 April - WA School of Mines

Karratha 23 April - Karratha Entertainment Centre

Previous visitors to the Roadshow have commented "This was probably the best conference/presentation that I have attended for a few years - very professional' and "Good to keep up with latest developments".

A joint venture between Westwick-Farrow Events and IDC Technologies - with a collection of world- class sponsor companies and the support of Engineers Australia, the Industrial Technology Regional Roadshow is celebrating its 6th year on the road.

The event is a tremendous opportunity for plant managers, engineers, maintenance managers, automation specialists and mine management to speak with the experts from the sponsor companies about their latest projects and keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques and news.

Each one-day event includes five all new industry-specific training workshops run by IDC Technologies, Technical Director, Dr Steve McKay. Delegates are able to choose training workshops specific to their needs.

  • Troubleshooting Industrial Ethernet - Tips and tricks
  • The nuts and bolts of Smart Instrument Standards
  • Troubleshooting Variable Speed Drives - a brief tutorial
  • Industrial Wireless Networks - what works now and what the future holds
  •  A practical tutorial on Safety Instrumentation - including Safety Integrity Levels (SILs)

In addition, each visitor will receive an information packed CD containing all the course notes/PowerPoint's and valuable supporting reference material.
