A report is currently being processed by global industry body FIPP focusing on innovative initiatives in magazine publishing.
FIPP will be launching the first Innovations in Magazines report in March 2010 - a global look at the most innovative initiatives to increase magazine reach, relevance, revenue, and readership. The survey will highlight a series of magazine case studies and interviews showing initiatives that have a proven track record of being successful, focusing on identifying innovation in content-driven solutions.
The study will be co-published by Innovation Media Consulting, which has also produced the annual World Association of Newspapers World Report for more than 10 years.
The innovative solutions from around the world will include innovation in multi-media, mobile, branding, retail and charging for content, green initiatives, traditional formats, new content, digital delivery and youth markets.
The report will be launched at the Digital Innovators Summit 2010, the 3rd FIPP/VDZ Digital Magazine Media Conference, in Berlin on 1 March. When released, the report will be published in Publishing Edge and on mediabiznet.com.au.
