There are currently eight positions provided for on the Publishers Australia board. Under the rules of the constitution, directors Bobbi Mahlab, Mark Paton and Graham Wakeling are due to commence the second year of their terms. Mark Paton, of Hardie Grant last week resigned from the Board, now leaving six positions open for election.
Directors Christopher Bishops, Geoff Hird, John (Pat) McElligott, Bruce Roff and Janice Williams having served the two years of their term, are due to retire. Directors Geoff Hird of Westwick-Farrow (Syd), John (Pat) McElligott of Inflight Publishing (Qld) and Janice Williams of Universal Magazines (Syd), have offered themselves for re-election.

The caliber of the nominees is high with their respective skills are bound to carry the vision of Publishers Australia forward in light of the positive results for the past financial year.
The AGM will be followed by a Publishers Australia Luncheon & networking drinks event commencing at 12.30pm sharp on the Ground Floor of Doltone House. Publishing Edge, last week, outlined the special interactive panel discussion taking place over lunch.
