Content agency Edge Custom Media (ECM) has launched a new website for the cruise market in partnership with the Online Marketing Group (OMG), Australia's foremost direct navigation search company. Cruises.com.au features editorial from ECM's Cruise Passenger magazine, as well as customised content such as news, reviews and blogs from industry experts.
The cruising public - increasing at over 15 per cent per year - can now learn more about cruising and communicate with cruise lines directly via this new medium. For cruise lines and retailers, cruises.com.au provides the opportunity for genuine pre-vetted sales leads and high conversion rates from online advertising.
The site, which in its first month has already recorded its first bookings totalling over $78,000, demonstrates ECM's ability to provide quality communication and marketing strategies to ensure its clients get the necessary results.
"The launch of cruises.com.au highlights our ability to source, generate and edit content across different media and in the right context to service client needs and meet client expectations for effectiveness and response," says CEO Eddie Thomas.
"As providers of content in the right context to Australian business, we tailor strategies to clients' needs. In that way, clients get the best response.
"This will further deepen relationships with clients; and the business model, which is leads-based, ensures that advertisers only pay for the leads they receive."
Edge Custom Media (ECM) was established in 2003 and now publishes more than 25 custom publications for many of Australia's blue-chip companies, including Australia Post, NAB, Volkswagen and BMW.
With a portfolio that includes more than 30,000 Australian websites, Online Marketing Group (OMG) is Australia's largest direct navigation search company. OMG is dedicated to building and marketing quality niche websites to provide visitors and advertisers with a world-class online experience.
